Impressions from our visit to the EJC 2025 siteAbout two month ago, a lot of people gathered in Arnhem: the team of the European Juggling Association had the incredible opportunity to visit the location in Arnhem where the EJC 2025 will take place. We were joined by wonderful people from past and future EJCs to share our respective experiences and insights with each other. We worked on a wide variety of things, from info point and registration day planning to safeguarding to many other topics. In the process, we got very excited about the summer. We hope you are, too! It’s going to be a blast, so get your tickets before phase 2 ends – about 3.000 other jugglers have already got theirs! For impressions from the day, head over to our instagram channel! |

Standing against division – A message from the EJCDear Jugglers and Circus Enthusiasts, Given the rising global tensions due to wars and politics, we have received concerns from some individuals who feel unsafe attending the festival. In these challenging times, building connections is more crucial than ever. To ensure the safety of all attendees, we are implementing additional precautions. For most of us, the European Juggling Convention (EJC) represents an inclusive space where we can share our passion for juggling and circus arts. Despite being among thousands of fellow jugglers, it often feels like a holiday with friends. Jugglers are known for their warm-heartedness, open-mindedness, and mutual support. This generous spirit is essential for the festival, as it thrives on countless voluntary hours from our community. As with the previous two editions, a safeguarding team managed by the EJA will be present. This team will provide a dedicated space where you can report any incidents that make you feel unsafe. Each case will be reviewed by the core team, who will take appropriate actions, which may include removing individuals from the festival. We have zero tolerance for racism or hatred. Our Terms and Conditions strictly prohibit any visual or verbal expressions that discriminate against, demean, or incite hostility towards specific groups. Our goal is to connect, not to divide. We will have professional security guards available 24/7 to escort individuals if necessary. Additionally, a select few individuals will be denied entry to the festival due to their behavior at previous EJCs, ensuring a secure environment for all participants. This year, we are advancing our inclusivity efforts by making the festival accessible to often overlooked groups. We aim to offer several shows adapted for visually and hearing-impaired individuals. We aim to make the festival facilities accessible for wheelchair users, and with workshops to over 3000 children in the neighbourhood we actively recruit potential new members to our community. Additionally, we will collaborate with local asylum seeker centers to introduce them to juggling and invite them to participate. For more information on the festival’s accessibility initiatives, please visit our website. We hope this information helps you make an informed decision about joining us at EJC 2025.
