Scholarship

The European Juggling Association & European Juggling Convention Scholarship is designed to support artists who may not have the financial means to participate in the European Juggling Convention, but its mission goes beyond offering access to a festival: the program aims to foster artistic growth, encourage cultural exchange, and strengthen the international juggling community.

We believe that juggling is more than a skill — it is a universal language that connects people across borders, cultures, and backgrounds. By bringing together artists from different parts of the world, we create space for meaningful exchange, shared learning, and mutual inspiration. Through this scholarship, we seek to amplify diverse voices, promote equal opportunity, and ensure that talent and passion can thrive regardless of financial circumstances.

Volunteer spirit plays a central role in the ethos of the European Juggling Convention. The scholarship reflects this value by encouraging active participation, community engagement, and contribution to the shared festival experience. Supporting selected jugglers in attending the festival allows them not only to present their work on an international stage, but also to participate in a culture built on collaboration, generosity, and collective effort.

Our goal is to make the European Juggling Convention a place where everyone — regardless of origin, financial situation, or artistic path — can feel welcome, included, and empowered to give back to the community that makes the event possible.
